Die Muster der Ananasschale wurden in PU-Schaum* abgeformt. Die eingedrückten Oberflächen unterscheiden sich in Form und Farbe, die zusammen eine Struktur ergeben. Die Struktur kann aufrecht stehen oder seitlich liegen, anpassend an die Umgebung.
*Montageschaum basiert normalerweise auf Polyurethan, daher auch die häufig verwendeten Namen PU-Schaum und PUR-Schaum.

Surfaces of pineapples are cast in polyurethane foam*. The cast surfaces are diverse in form and color, forming together to make one struc- ture. The structure can stand upright or lay on its side, depending on the space.
*Polyurethane (PUR and PU) is a polymer composed of organic units joined by carbamate (urethane) links. While most polyurethanes are thermosetting polymers that do not melt when heated, thermoplastic polyurethanes are also available.
